Summer is short in the nordic countries. People come out, come together and take part in all kinds of activities. Summer is busy and this year the Nordic Type 2 club is gathering at Akkerhaugen in Telemark and since I was home, I decided to make a visit. The visit was like going back in time, back to my childhood when happiness was to own a beetle (Volkswagen Type 1) and the more adventurous families bought a Volkswagen bus (Type 2) and took off on the road for vacation.
This family comes all the way from sweden and call their wagon "Tilsammans" with reference to 'flowerpower', the 60's, 'peace and love' and the collective movement.
Pekka from Finland is trying to sell his wagon for two cases of beer, and for a entra case you will get his wife and dog as well.
